Northport, New York – July 1, 2003 - Quantum Art, Inc., the leading provider of dynamic content management solutions to local governments and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), announced today that four of its county customers were ranked among top-ten by the Center for Digital Government.

In a press release issued by the Center for Digital Government, Bernalillo County, New Mexico; Leon County, Florida; Hamilton County, Indiana; and Albemarle County, Virginia, were ranked among top-ten digital counties in the Digital Counties Survey, launched in March 2003.   The Center grouped counties into four categories based on population: 500,000 or more; 250,000-499,999; 150,000-249,999; and less than 150,000; all US counties were invited to participate in the survey.

“I cannot express how proud and pleased we were to find four of our customers featured among the top-ten,” said Edward Shenderovich, Quantum Art’s Executive VP of Strategic Development.  “While Q-Publishing has been around since 1998, our first county customer joined the Quantum Art family in June 2002.  A year later, over 30 local governments across the country have adopted Q-Publishing and we are very excited to have four of them be the top technology users in the country.   We are looking forward to the next year’s survey, hoping to see more of Quantum Art’s customers among the leading “digital counties” in the nation, and are determined to help the counties that adopt Q-Publishing to deliver outstanding services to their constituencies.“

According to the Center for Digital Government, the Center itself “is a national research and advisory institute providing industry, government, and education leaders with decision support, research and services to help them effectively incorporate new technologies in the 21st century.”
